Buffer time
Padding automatically reserved before or after a meeting so bookings don't stack back-to-back.
Buffer time is breathing room the scheduler holds around each booking - five or ten minutes before to prepare, after to write notes or travel. Without buffers, a busy booking page packs meetings edge-to-edge and the day becomes unmanageable.
Buffers are set per event type and applied automatically, so invitees simply never see the padded-out slots.
